Migration Regularization
This procedure is addressed to all foreigners who are inside Panamanian territory illegally, you must take into account that all immigration regularization procedures must be done explicitly through a certified lawyer.
However, if the foreigner obtained a provisional residence permit through the Extraordinary Immigration Regularization Process (Crisol de Razas), or through the general procedure, either for 6 or 10 years, they may opt for permanent residence. This procedure is done through Executive Decree number 235 of September 15, 2021.
Requirements:
1) Power in favor of the lawyer.
2) Original and complete copy of the passport.
3) Police record.
4) Certificate of good health.
5) Payment in favor of the National Immigration Service.
6) Payment in favor of the National Treasury.
7) Two (2) passport size photographs.
8) Regularization Process Form (must be completed online).
9) Proof of the applicant’s address.
10) In the case of a minor, notarized authorization from the legal representative.
Note: You must also include documentation that supports the condition under which he is applying for permanent residence.
