Leaving Minors from the Country
Article 40: all documents issued abroad must meet the following requirements:
1. Be duly apostilled or authenticated by the Embassy or Consulate of Panama in the country that issued them and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Panama.
2. If there is no Panamanian consulate or embassy in the issuing country, such situation must be proven and proceed to authenticate it at the embassy or consulate of a friendly country.
3. All documents must be in Spanish, otherwise they must be translated by an authorized public translator with reference to the resolution that authorizes them as translators in the Republic of Panama.
4. If reference is made to foreign currency, you must present the conversion detailing its equivalent in dollars, issued by a competent entity.
Non-resident minors are excluded from these requirements.
