The National Migration Service of Panama received a mention.
The purpose of the National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI) is to: promote policies of transparency and access to information in public management, as a component that strengthens the prevention of corruption, in order to achieve the development of a model of quality management and accountability, efficient and effective that encourages citizen participation.
Recently, the National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information in Panama produced a monitoring evaluation report, presented in March and corresponding to January 2021, in which the National Migration Service of Panama received the mention of being qualified again with 100 percent transparency.
This achievement confirms the professionalism of this institution, whose function plays a preponderant role for Panama.
It is important the fact that during the current administration of the SNM (National Migration Service of Panama), the rating has been constant, with a level of transparency of maximum score.
In this last report, a total of 193 entities studied to obtain the evaluation, among which 112 state entities, public companies and 81 municipalities belonging to the Republic of Panama.
