THE MIGRATORY MOVEMENT INCREASES IN PANAMA
The National Migration Service of Panama, highlights that the monthly migratory movement of travelers through the Republic of Panama is increasing during the first months of this year 2021.
It is noteworthy that the total income by air, land and sea in the period January-March 2021, was 210,776 people and the exits through these checkpoints, total the amount of 173,216 people.
The National Migration Service of Panama, closed the statistics for the first month of the year 2021, with a migratory movement of 113,725 people, as for the month of February the figure is 111,917 people and in March the figure was notably higher, reaching the amount of 158,350 travelers.
Regarding the migratory movement classified by sex, in the first quarter of the year, the number of entries and exits of male persons was recorded as 234,019, while the record related to female persons was 149,973.
If we look at the statistics regarding entries and exits from the Republic of Panama, in the year 2020, through all immigration control posts it was 1,796,758 people; and of these in turn 928,143 were registered the entry and 868,615 they were registered exit.
