FINES RETURNED FOR EXPIRATION OF PERMITS
The National Migration Service of Panama informs its users that the period of exception and validity of expired permits and cards had an end date of June 30, 2021.
The terms and fines for expiration of the permit card in process, provisional permit card, non-resident visas, migratory regularization card, judicial stay card and stays as tourism; they will begin to run from July 1 of the current year, said the National Migration Service of Panama.
On the other hand, on June 30, 2021, the period in which permanent residents, who are outside the national territory, can remain thus ends, without this situation leading to the sanction stipulated in Article 31, Numeral 3 , of Decree Law No. 3 of February 22, 2008.
Similarly, it is worth highlighting the fact that birth certificates and marriage certificates, which have been previously issued and which have expired during the period from March 13 to January 31, 2021, are recognized as valid.
This validity or recognition was maintained until June 30, 2021, as announced by the National Migration Service of Panama.
