Registration of a Foreign Company in Panama
If you wish to establish a subsidiary of your foreign company in the Republic of Panama, you must submit the following requirements:
1. Power of attorney and request through lawyers, with the corresponding legal basis.
2. Authorization of the president or legal representative of the foreign entity.
3. Documentation of the entity legally registered abroad, and authenticated by corresponding instances.
4. List of the members of the board of directors, in accordance with the provisions of articles 4 and 6 of executive decree number 62 of 2017.
5. Have domicile in the Republic of Panama.
6. Establish who will exercise the legal representation of the entity in Panama, who must have Panamanian nationality or, in the case of being a foreigner, residency in Panama.
7. All documentation must be duly presented, legalized and if it is in a language other than Spanish, it must be translated by an authorized public interpreter.
8. Two copies of all documentation must be assigned or consigned.
