Exemptions of fines are extended until the end of the year

The Government of Panama, through the National Service of Migration of Panama (SNM) announces Exonerations of fines, which extend until the end of the year 2022.
The National Immigration Service of Panama (SNM) informed its users and the general public that in compliance with Resolution No. 13680 of June 30, 2022, those foreigners in Panama who are pending to make their payments for immigration regularization procedures, they now have until December 31, 2022 to make requests for exemptions from fines that they have pending payment with this institution.
It is important to point out the fact that these exonerations will be met for reasons framed in the economic situation due to the national state of emergency, generated by the COVID 19 health crisis.
Resolution No. 13680 of June 30, 2022 delegates the head of Legal Counsel of the entity to affix the signatures of the resolutions through which the fines are exonerated.
