Provisional Residence Permit in Panama for two years.
A new decree modified on July 26, 2021, specifies that the National Migration Service Panama (SNM) may grant, for a period of two years, a provisional residence permit in Panama to all those who request it, in order to that they can carry out economic and professional activities.
These persons must be foreigners from certain specific countries that maintain professional, friendly and investment relationships with the Republic of Panama.
Certain requirements are mandatory and for the approval of said residence permit, the applicant and his employer will be obliged to process before the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development, the work permit that authorizes the applicant to work in the national territory.
