Driver’s license for foreigner in panama
If the person is a foreigner, they can only apply for driver’s licenses belonging to categories “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”
- The applicant must attach a document with a copy of the license duly stamped and signed by the entity that issues the certification.
- Certify the document at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Present the original and copy of the current migration card.
- Original and copy of valid passport.
- Original and copy of the valid foreign license.
- You must also record a blood type from a laboratory authorized by the Transit and Land Transportation Authority (where to include the full name, identity card number or passport number, stamp and fresh signature of the doctor), this test should not have more than six months old.
- Exception: If the applicant’s license contains the blood type, they do not need to present the blood type test.
- Likewise, the visual and hearing tests must be carried out at the branch where the procedure is requested.
- It is necessary that the person is at peace and safe with the A.T.T.T.
- Cost: B /. 40.00 (includes visual, auditory, theoretical and practical validations).
- Payment is made at the A.T.T.T.
Important:
- Names and surnames must be the same on all printed documents.
- All documentation to be presented must be in good condition.
- For those documents written in a language other than Spanish, they must be translated and sealed by an interpreter authorized in the Republic of Panama (stamp and fresh signature).
