Covid in Panama
The second batch of vaccines from Pfizer Pharmaceuticals has arrived in Panama.
The second batch of Pfizer and BioNTech vaccines which contains 67,860 doses will be in Panamanian lands this Tuesday night, according to the words of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Erika Mouynes.
In the meantime, Luis Sucre, Minister of Health, indicated that once the vaccines will arrive to Panama, they will begin with their distribution, thus benefiting the Panamanian population which will have these important medicines.
He also indicated that Pfizer will continue to send its vaccines to Panama throughout the month of March, until completing the 450,000 dose quota in March.
On her behalf, Minister Ivette Berrío, expressed her approval, and indicated that each Panamanian will receive the dose of vaccine .
Pfizer will deliver a total of 5.5 million vaccines to Panama.
