Requirements for Panama Professional Visa
The professional foreigner may apply for this permit, provided said profession is not limited by the Constitution of the Republic of Panama or by naturalization.
The applicant must provide the following documents to apply for the foreigner professional residency visa:
1. Power of Attorney and Application signed by the foreigner (notarized).
2. Three (3) photographs.
3. Correctly collated copy of the passport (notary or corresponding authority).
4. Criminal Record Certificate of your country of origin or last residence duly apostilled.
5. Health Certificate.
6. Certified Check for B / 250.00 in favor of the National Treasury.
7. Certified Check for B / 800.00 in favor of the National Immigration Service.
8. Affidavit Form of Personal Background.
9. Copy of the diploma or university degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or doctorate
duly apostilled or authenticated.
10. Comply with the validation process before the authorities corresponding national in this case the University of Panama or the Technological University.
PERMIT OF PERMANENT RESIDENT IN QUALITY OF FOREIGNER PROFESSIONAL
To request the stay, the above requirements will be presented, with the exception of
Certificate of Criminal Record and checks, the applicant additionally must provide:
- Certification of the Social Security Fund that accredits the payment of nine (9) consecutive installments, without prejudice to the change of company.
- Peace and National Salvage of the applicant (DGI).
